Steps

  1. Check 2024-2025 AY Barrett Programming Calendar for availability
  2. Determine budget and receive approval from necessary departments.
  3. Reserve space on ASU Campus
    1. Barrett Tempe Request Form (Deans' Office)
    2. Barrett Outside Room Request
    3. MU Reservations
    4. Request a Reservation | SDFC
    5. Poly Room Request
    6. EOSS Request a Reservation
    7. Student Center @ DPC Reservation
    8. Student Unions and Centers Reservation Request Form
    9. Entrepreneurship & Innovation website
  4. Check approved Vendor lists
    1. Event rentals and catering
    2. Moving and Event Services
    3. CFO Event Rentals page
    4. SunMart
  5. Check the approved EOSS Approved Food Vendors list and if the caterer you would like to work with is not approved, submit a Food Exception Request Form.
  6. Serving alcohol? Apply and get approved for a Permit to Serve Alcoholic Beverages on Campus. The Dean’s Office will need to give approval as well.
  7. Complete the Special Events Registry Form thirty days before your event date.
  8. Submit a Trello submission to Marketing & Communications Team at least 2 weeks minimum prior to the event
  9. Submit a form to Honors Digest (Drupal) in order to market to the Barrett community.
  10. Contact BTO and complete the Barrett Webpage Support (ServiceNow) form for IT support.
  11. Save all invoices and itemized receipts from P-Card transactions. (DO NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACTS).
