Training and software
Event planning requires the use of a wide range of tools and platforms. Planners should familiarize themselves with each system to understand how it can best support the successful coordination of events.
System access and training
- ASURITE ID– Required to access the Special Events Registry form.
- ServiceNow – Used to submit IT support tickets.
AirTable – Utilized for Barrett approvals, calendar management, and project tracking.
- Stova (Event Management System) – The university’s official event management platform. Planners are encouraged to review the provided training videos and participate in upcoming training sessions.
Sun Devil Central – Event planners should work with Student Services for training and review the training video on this system.
- Workday (ASU Financial Management System) – Supervisors will provide unit-specific training on tagging items, or planners may contact the Barrett Business Office for assistance.
Classroom Support (Barrett Technology Office)
- Quickpay (ServiceNow ticket to get access)
Special Events Registry Requirements
- Submit at least 30 days before any in-person event: Follow the Guidelines for In-Person Events and Meetings. If a speaker is part of the event, the timeline is moved back to have the form completed at least 6 weeks out from the event.
- Complete the Special Events Registry Form in accordance with these required guidelines.
