We are pleased to announce the hire of a new Director of Communications, Tiffany Woodruff-Mayer. Tiffany will be starting on December 16.
Tiffany started her career in TV, working at all four major networks, including ABC and CBS in Phoenix, where she honed her storytelling skills. She then spent seven years at GoDaddy, shaping brand narratives and producing Super Bowl ads. Most recently, she served as Director of Communications at Isagenix, overseeing both international and domestic communications, social media, video production, and comms strategy.
Education has always been close to Tiffany’s heart, and she enjoys substitute teaching, mentoring through the DECA program, and capturing high school sports as an amateur photographer.
While she’s a University of Miami graduate, Tiffany has been a devoted ASU fan for years, thanks to her husband and sister, a Barrett, the Honors College alum. Her son is a freshman honors student at a university in Arizona (that shall remain nameless), and her stepdaughter works in medical sales.
In her free time, Tiffany brings her HGTV obsession to life with home projects. She recently completed a kitchen remodel, although she believes kitchens are for aesthetics only and avoids cooking as much as possible. Instead, you’ll find her cheering for her favorite football team even when they’re losing (Go Niners!), attending concerts, enjoying her parents’ company, writing, or playing fetch with her pint-sized pups, Knox and Bean.
We are pleased to welcome Cariann Powers as the new Internship and Community Outreach Coordinator Senior. Cariann was born and raised in Chicago, IL and received her Master’s Degree in Communication from ASU. Cariann currently lives in Scottsdale with her husband, 16-year old daughter, two cats and an anxious Border Collie. She loves good books, Britbox TV shows, podcasts, and coffee. Cariann will start on Monday, Dec.2nd and her office will be located in Sage 128.
