Global Advocacy Certificate Program
Announcement
In partnership with ASU ADVANCE, the Office of Inclusive Excellence will be offering the Global Advocacy Certificate Program (GACP) for the Spring 2024 semester.
The first class will start on January 11, 2024 from 11am - 1pm. Please register at: GACP
The Global Advocacy Certificate Program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of global advocacy issues, strategies, and best practices. Through a combination of workshops, seminars, and experiential learning opportunities, participants will develop the skills required to engage in effective advocacy within diverse cultural contexts. All offerings are free of charge and all ASU faculty and staff are invited to attend sessions for ongoing learning, regardless of their intentions to receive a certificate. Sessions are facilitated over Zoom to include representatives from all locations, as well as those who work remotely.
Participants in the programs will increase:
- Awareness of campus resources for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse students
- Strategies to serve as advocates for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse students
- Proficiencies to create more inclusive cultures
